Welcome to our Digital History Exhibit, Post War Teen Tuning! We are DePaul University’s Digital History 2016 Winter Quarter Students, in a dual undergraduate and graduate class. During our class we discussed adolescent development during the Cold War. We analyzed social guidance films and educational articles to study Cold War teen culture.
The core theme of our class was “Are You Popular?” named after a well-known social guidance film. As individuals we each chose a related source to study in depth. This website is the collaborative result of our research throughout the quarter. We hope you enjoy exploring the films and articles in this exhibit as much as we enjoyed researching them!
